Establish is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created specifically to foster healing, restoration, and prevention of future abuse/trauma to vulnerable populations through transitional services direct to survivors while also providing training & consultation to professionals & volunteers.

TRAINING & CONSULTATION

All training and consultation services are grounded in evidenced-based strategies taught with practical application points. Our trainers on subject matter experts with decades of actual on-the-ground experience with survivors in a variety of circumstances.

Nonprofit, NGO, law enforcement, or government entities can request training on working trafficking cases with survivors and/or supporting survivors through the system.

Establish has 3 TIERS of training & consultation services:

Annual Membership - Training Intensive of 4 weekly sessions deliver 12 hours of in-depth training with both on-demand videos and face-to-face Q&A sessions with experts. Annual membership includes access to the annual meeting and exclusive free access to additional trainings.

Corporate Membership - Annual membership & training for all your staff. A package deal perfect for up to 50 staff members and includes bonus consultation sessions to aid in implementation & refinement of best practices.

Consult Membership - Upgrade your annual membership with bi-weekly consultation calls to provide on-going support to your program.

SURVIVOR SERVICES

All survivor services are designed to empower trauma survivors to create safer futures by equipping them with leadership skills to access higher pay & greater flexibility through advancing their careers, entrepreneurship, and/or community leadership positions. 

 

We stand for 3 simple words that are critical for the long-term independence of survivors: FREEDOM, EMPOWERMENT &  COMMUNITY.

Establish has 3 TIERS of survivor direct service:

Webinar Trainings - Professional development webinars for survivors of trauma and trafficking desiring to gain career/entrepreneurial knowledge from successful businesswomen.

 

Accountability Groups - Group program lasting 3 to 4 months for our committed clients focused on controlling their own future through higher pay and more flexibility through leadership skills & career advancement. 

 

Long-term 1:1 Mentorship Pairings - Multi-year mentorship pairings designed to support survivors' growth through life stages.

Our focus is stabilization and integration of survivors for the long term.

 

THE PROBLEM

There are a lack of services available to transitional-stage survivors beginning their career or entrepreneurial journey.  The majority of grants and programs focus on crisis response to trauma and trafficking, leaving survivors “surviving but not thriving”.  This failure to thrive results in devastating poverty and little support or guidance in creating an independent sustainable life. 

 

While early intervention and crisis response are critical for victims of human trafficking, transitional services are specifically imperative for victims to truly recover and gain their independence.

 

THE ESTABLISH SOLUTION

Establish is different because we focus on stabilization via results versus perception.

 

Establish measures itself via the engagement level of each survivor, defined as prospects for long-term social and economic self-sufficiency.

 

EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS OF SURVIVOR STABILIZATION shows the success is based on two factors that the length of services (data shows that survivors benefit from more months of service) & Agency characteristics. Again, data shows that onsite capacity to provide mental health services and emergency housing is expected to increase stabilization. However, an agency’s capacity to support job-seeking and self-reliance will promote stabilization.
