The Project
At Establish, we believe every survivor deserves healing, safety, and hope for the future. Through federal and state partnerships, and with the support of our local community, we’ve created programs that equip everyday people to make a lasting difference.
THE PROBLEM:
Human Trafficking is an ongoing and pervasive crisis in Hawai’i.
1 in 11 adult males on Oʻahu were estimated to be sex buyers.
In 2021, 60% of clients recorded in Hawaiʻi’s Trafficking Victims Assistance Program database were confirmed trafficked.
More than half of those were children.

Individuals transitioning out of exploitative or high-risk situations.

Free Trainings
Survivors deserve stable housing, safe relationships, and support to thrive each day. Our trainings give you the tools to step in, fill those gaps, and provide the community survivors need. To learn more or register, click the button below.
Hānai Connections
This program moves from training to action, pairing community members one-on-one with a survivor to provide a steady, safe relationship. It offers those who have completed the Walking Alongside Training the opportunity to become lifelong mentors, supporting survivors in everyday life with guidance and a dependable presence.
Trauma Assessments
We offer a validated, trauma-informed assessment to determine trafficking risk and support care planning. Conducted in partnership with Ola Hou Clinic and supervised by a licensed psychologist, this service is available to providers and self-referring adults. Visit our Referral Tab to submit a request.
